GOODBYE BONDI. BIG PRICES PUSH THE EAST OVER THE BRIDGE.

Not only does it appear that the grass is greener over the bridge, it’s also larger & more affordable.

Our Eastern Suburb peeps are moving over here in the droves as unrealistic property prices are seeing them

getting more bang for their buck on ‘the beaches’. A median house price of $1.34 million on the Northern Beaches is far more affordable

than the $2.862 million for a pad in Double Bay.

Unprecedented numbers of property buyers from the Eastern Suburbs are now targeting suburban houses on the northern beaches chasing a patch of grass.

Traditionally the peninsular has been insular, with buyers already living on the northern beaches or coming from the lower north shore or just over Roseville Bridge.

There has definitely been a large upward swing on buyers from the East bidding & buying on northern beaches, particularly homes with gardens & with unrealistic prices in the East, there’s barely any affordable freestanding homes with gardens.

The feedback from our Eastern Suburbs clients has been that they’re ‘blown away by the open spaces’ & how much you can actually get over here for your money in comparison!

We’ve found that the Eastern Suburbs clients are willing in some cases to pay more for a property than the locals just to get some grass.

There’s certainly been a big switch in thinking whereas 10 years ago, many buyers had to keep their place of work in mind, now we see that people have a little more flexibility, working from home & are willing to make certain sacrifices to live over the bridge in a home that suits their free time.

Beautifully kept homes, beaches, big backyards + bang for your buck – we’re welcoming

you all with open arms.

The Goss!
