QUIT A VICE

Turn it any way you like however coffee, alcohol, eating out all eat away at our daily spend limit. Giving us just 2 weeks of booze could save you around $147!

SHOP AROUND FOR THAT TRAVEL INSURANCE

A 25 year old single traveller heading to the USA for 2 weeks on a comprehensive policy could save as much as $184 by taking out the lowest cost policy as opposed to the most expensive. Don’t assume all travel insurance costs are the same, prices vary greatly so shop around.

HAIL NO MORE

A typical 10km taxi ride costs around $25. Skip just 4 taxis between now & Christmas & you save enough money to buy a decent gift for someone. That simple. Walk or catch a ferry or that big, blue Mercedes & save a bucket load.

GO BACK TO THE DARK AGES

Cashless is quick & convenient but often in the lure of tap & go it’s easy to lose track of spending. Instead withdraw the amount of cash you think you’ll need each week & use this for all your spending rather than waving the plastic around. At pretty much half the price of many other stores, their treats & Christmas items are incredible & you won’t compromise on quality either. We’ve tried everything so we’re a great gage.

GESTURES OF LOVE & APPRECIATION

Who doesn’t love a candy cane or 20? Christmas love doesn’t always need to come in the form of stripes & sugar. Handmade cards with some heartfelt words are a fab way of thanking supporters & fellow colleagues…stick a pic from throughout the year inside. They’ll love it just as much as that sugar coated treat & so will their teeth (& hips!)
