Behind the glitzy chandeliers, marble anti pasto bar & our 10 metre LED video wall at our truly beautiful headquarters in Dee Why on Sydneys’ dazzling Northern Beaches, is a military machine of some 50 ‘soldiers’, an army of the most exceptional ladies & men this industry has seen.
It’s difficult for anyone to truly appreciate the complexity & the intricate systems that lie beneath the surface of Novak Properties so we thought in this newsletter we’d share some of what goes on ‘behind the scenes’…
We employ the most elite people in the industry, many of whom bring to the table a wealth of talent, knowledge & experience right across every sector.
NOVAK PROPERTIES WELCOME BAR CONCIERGES
These fine ladies ensure that you are greeted with the warmest of welcomes & will assist your every first point of contact enquiry. They serve you our delicious antipasto platters, cakes & any beverage of your choice. These ladies have a complex job & understand our clientele & the needs of the team. Food prep makes up a very important role, freshly sliced meats & cheeses, fresh fruit & freshly baked biscuits are all prepared. These ladies are fully trained Barista’s ensuring that you will receive the best coffee. Our Welcome Bar, open from 8am – 8pm, is a never ending thoroughfare of key drop offs, tradies, deliveries, clients, staff & all general enquiries & we can guarantee you that you will only ever be made to feel like you are right at home here!
6 star training & experience is essential & these ladies have come from a culmination of high end designer backgrounds together with silver service hospitality restaurants!
Supporting our entire sales team, their list of duties is so vast & varied – contracts, ads, intense marketing support, all appraisal related work, signboards, brochures & every need of the sales dept… The average years these incredible people have worked here at Novak Properties is 6 years! A wealth of backgrounds exist here to bring together the finest support team this industry has seen. Experience ranges from medical to finance to childcare, all holding extensive experience in real estate.
Working 24/7, around the clock – FACT! A fierce marketing machine exists within creating & pumping out fresh, inspirational marketing & copy across every platform. A team of marketeers work to ensure that we are heavily displayed across all print & social media. This team have endless years of experience in this area including our very own in-house photographer who previously worked with National Geographic for 20 years!
IN- HOUSE PRINTING
Yes! We have our very own in-house print house. Think of every piece of machinery you would find at Quick Copy & we have it. Commercial copiers, binders, folding machines, laminators, envelope stuffers, scoring machines, cutters, leather binders – the list goes on. 2 people full time work in this domain ensuring that we can quality control & turn all brochures, cards…everything around in lightning speed!
NEW CLIENT SERVICES SUPPORT & MANAGEMENT
Unique to Novak Properties, this department looks after ALL new relationships for ALL new property management/rental related business including ALL tenant enquiries, processing of ALL applications, on-boarding & welcoming all new landlords, showing of ALL rental properties from 8am – 8pm & also responsible for sourcing new managements.
SALES TEAM – RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL
Residential & Commercial – a rare mix in real estate!
This inspirational team are some of the hardest working people you will EVER meet, many have been with us for a minimum of 8 years! A more experienced team you won’t find & so incredibly passionate & well versed with all things property. Working 24/7 – their capabilities are superhuman.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT – RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL
Our Senior Property Managers have worked within this industry for a minimum of 10 years, many of those years here with us at Novak. These exceptional people work in teams/super pods, with all Senior Property Managers having at least 1 assistant! Managing a portfolio of over 1500 properties means that we MUST have extremely efficient systems whereby our Property Managers have an intricate understanding & long term relationships with their landlords & properties. We have this department down to a fine art…with training to ensure extreme communication & well-oiled systems.
The creme de le creme, this team have been with us for way too many years to actually count on our hands & toes! All coming from corporate accounting backgrounds & with huge personalities, they are responsible for mid & end of month rental payments, ledgers, general accounting, arrears, pays, invoicing – there is literally nothing they do not know or cannot do.
ADMIN, ASSISTANTS & OFFICE JUNIORS
These guys make sure the oil is in the machine, endlessly, relentlessly 24/7. Running at full speed, they are ensuring that we are always on point, answering a million e-mails & firing on all cylinders. This crew will work 7 days a week, around the clock to ensure that none of us ever miss a beat…we have no idea what we would do without them!!
…& that’s showbiz – the crazy life of Novak Properties. None of us would have it any other way. This is not a job to us, it’s a passion & we truly do love what we do, we hope it shows.
