LOOK OUT NEW YORK, PARIS & MILAN…. HERE COMES DEE WHY!!!

Put on those Tom Ford sunnies, grab your best designer handbag & dust of those glam threads cause Champs Elysees Dee Why might well be just around the corner darlings. The word about town is that our very own Dee Why could soon be joining the ranks of popular walkways from around the world in a proposed transformation that’ll see Dee Why Beach & the town centre turned in a boulevard…how very posh!

Right about now many of you are thinking Dee Why? Champs Elysees? What??????? Yes! At this moment in time, they’re world’s apart. One is well, just plain old Dee Why, & the other one on the most famous streets in the world located in the fashion hub, Paris!

Here’s the drill guys & dolls….the Health Advocacy Group, part of NSW Health, claims that the draft concept plan that’s currently under way has big plans for our little Dee Why. Perhaps the days of boardies & thongs are limited with ideas of a boulevard style mall along Howard Ave where car access along the sides & pedestrian access & a bike path would run down the middle.
