NARRAWEENA PROPERTY

It’s no secret that the Northern Beaches has out performed most areas where you hear us reporting many extremely positive facts & figures. There is however one suburb in particular that requires centre stage – INTRODUCING….NARRAWEENA.

Our very own Angelo Goutzios, Sales Manager at Novak Properties was born & bred in Narraweena so there is truly no one better to report about this suburb than Angelo.

Firstly let’s look at some stats to wet your appetite! Narraweena has seen an increase in the last 5 years of 64.6%, making it the highest growth suburb for houses on the Northern Beaches! Crazy figures in anyone’s books….

28 of Angelo’s 32 years were spent in this wonderful suburb where Angelo enjoyed the perfect Northern Beaches life by all accounts…kids he once played backyard soccer with are now life long friends, & while all of Angelo’s neighbours are now parents of their own, most still choose to call Narraweena home, (as do their parents, some who have lived there for 70+ years) all choosing to never, ever leave this suburb.

Why? Up until recently, believe it or not, Narraweena was the Northern Beaches most affordable suburb. Mostly houses with average block sizes between 560 – 700 sqm.

Here you can expect to buy a super solid, double brick home which sits amidst beautiful, level blocks many with views out to the sea or on the southern side with views looking out to the city. Narraweena sits nice & high, allowing for plenty of light & great sea breezers , add to this a super safe neighbourhood plus it’s flooded with wonderful schools – Naraweena Public School, St Johns Narraweena, St Augustine’s College, St Lukes Grammar & Brookvale Public. It’s right near endless shopping, local eateries, Dee Why Beach is just down the road & transport is on tap.
Angelo goes on to say that ” this is one of the most conveniently located suburbs on the Northern Beaches as it sits amongst two of the biggest arterial intersections on the Beaches – Warringah & Pittwater Roads”.

A true ‘white picket fence’ suburb, mostly owner occupied, where back in 2012, a 696sqm, 3 bedroom, original, full brick home was selling for $750,000. The same house today is selling for, on average, $1.4 – $1.5 million.

In 2014, Angelo sold the most expensive house in Narraweena (as seen on Selling Houses, Australia). An original 2 storey, P & O style home which achieved $1.5 million! Since then, Angelo has listed & sold many homes in this boundless suburb & honestly knows it like the back of his hand. The suburb has now achieving in excess of $2 million for newer 5 bedroom homes with views.

If you are thinking of buying or selling in a fantastic area, that still has much more room for growth, we urge you to contact Angelo on 0422 982 909 – 24/7. Given the data outlined, if you would like to know what your property is worth in this vibrant market, please don’t hesitate to call Angelo, there are not many people as well versed as Angelo on this area.

For now sit back, relax & enjoy our favourite picks of the week….

The Goss!
